Golf Courses: Oakmont Country Club, Pennsylvania, USA

The Oakmont Country Club is located in the suburbs of Plum and Oakmont in Pennsylvania, USA. This course has been used as a venue of the US Open golf championship many times, in the years 1927, 1935, 1953, 1962, 1973, 1983, 1994, 2007, 2016 and also in 2025. This makes it the most frequently used venue for the US Open.

The Oakmont Country Club has been labeled the "oldest top-ranked golf course in the U.S". It also has a reputation as one of the most challenging courses in the world, mostly due to its 200 bunkers and severely undulated greens.
