Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, Uruguay
The Estadio Centenario is a sporting stadium located in Montevideo, Uruguay, primarily used for football matches. This stadium was one of the three used for the 1930 FIFA World Cup.
The current capacity is 60,235, though the largest ever crowd was 79,867 for the World Cup match between Uruguay and Yugoslavia.
Estadio CentenarioEstadio Centenario hosted ten matches of the 1930 FIFA World Cup, including both semi-final matches and the final match between Uruguay and Argentina. The entire tournament took place in three stadiums within Montevideo; In addition to Estadio Centenario, matches were played at Central Park and Pocitos Stadium.

- The stadium is named in honor of the 100 year anniversary of the ratification of the first Constitution of Uruguay.
- In 1983 Estadio Centenario was declared by FIFA as the first Historical Monument of World Football (and the only one with this honor so far)
- Under the Olympic Grandstand is located primary school "Nº 100 Héctor Fígoli"; and under the Colombes Grandstand is located Police Station Nº9.
