The WACA

The WACA is a sports stadium located in East Perth, Western Australia. The stadium's name derives from the initials of its owners and operators, the Western Australian Cricket Association. It is predominantly a cricket ground, with Test cricket played at the ground since the 1970.

The capacity is listed as 20,000, with the record crowd at the WACA was 34,317 at the AFL Preliminary Final between the West Coast Eagles and the Melbourne on 24 September 1994.
