The XXIII (23rd) Commonwealth Games will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Glasgow also hosted the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The event will be held from 23 July to 2 August, 2026.

There will be 10 sports (reduced from 19 at the previous Commonwealth Games), though Glasgow 2026 is set to have a record total number of available medals.

Trivia

• Two new countries which joined the Commonwealth in 2022 are expected to make their debut in 2026, Gabon and Togo.
• The two other cities to have hosted Commonwealth Games more than once are Auckland (1950, 1990) and Edinburgh (1970, 1986).
