Cotswod Olimpicks

The annual event of the Cotswod Olimpicks (that's not a typo!) was started by a local barrister Captain Robert Dover in 1612. The Cotswold Olimpicks, also known as the Cotswold Games, is held at Dover's Hill, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire England. The event attracts thousands of visitors each year.

Just some of the events are in the following list. At the end of the day, someone is crowned the Champion of the Hill.

The shin kicking competition is the most popular activity. In addition to the sporting events, the festivities include a huge bonfire and fireworks display and a torchlight procession to a Morris dancing performance in Chipping Campden's town square.
