Rollerdome - a New Sport
The new sport of Rollerdome was created by Bill vincent of Oklahoma City Oklahoma in 2015. It is a team competitive roller style game - combination of football with a rugby style ball, ice hockey with roller skates and roller derby but with even more attitude.
Equipment Required: NFL style padded uniform, rollerskates and an open face DOT approved motorcycle helmet, bar coded rugby ball. Helmets are wired to communicate with their coach or track officials.

There are six teams currently in the league with team names and logos that are cool, edgy and baddass like the Oklahoma city hired guns, Houston wellheads and the Chicago maulers. Sport Details
ROLLERDOME is played on an oval track roughly the size of an ice hockey rink. There are two teams on the track with five players each, one offense and one defense. Game play begins when the track ball launcher fires the ball onto the track and caught by the receiver. The receiver then hands the ball to the rollerback. The rollerback skates to their goal. The ball is bar coded and paired with a wireless sensor inside the goal
The receiver and three guards block tackle for the rollerback. The defense consists of three blockers and two tackles who try to knock the rollerback down or strip the ball. It becomes a deadball. The offense has three attempts to score before the ball is handed over to the other teams offense a score is three points. There are two thirty minute periods and a fifteen minute halftime the game runs continuously and stops only to evacuate an injured player from the track. There are rules of game conduct for player safety and penalties for a player who violates these rules.
