Inflatable Dodgeball - a New Sport
The new sport of Inflatable Dodgeball was created by Bryce Franz form America in November 2024. It is a battle sport played in an inflatable house.
Equipment:
- The weapons and shields will be made from PVC pipes and pool noodles
- A court big enough to fit or be close to the size that was given
- The court will be made from the same materials and way as a bounce house is made (inflatable)
- Shirts and pants and socks and accessories can be bought that consist of different colors depending on the team color you are.
Sport Description
The layout of the court is 282 feet long and 150 feet wide field (the size can be changed if needed). The court is inflatable like a bouncy house and there will be mini walls and obstacles for cover.
There will be two teams one on each side. Each team consists of 5 to 7 players. You can have defenders, attackers, call outs and medics.
The defenders weapons consist of shields, swords, and mace. The defenders will have to choose between these weapons for battle they are required to have at least one shield and one weapon.
The attackers will get to choose between these weapon which consists of swords, axes, and flail the attackers can choose either one ax or one flail or one sword but the attackers can also have two swords if they want to but not more than one flail or ax.
The call outs will have their own area where they can’t be eliminated. The call out will be above the players and will call out plays or strategy or if an enemy is in a certain area or position and the call out can call it out to their teammates.
The medic can choose of any weapon they want but has the same restrictions as a attacker does the medic can choose of a shield, sword, mace, ax, and flail. The medic will have 5-7 bandages with them that can be used when a teammate is eliminated. The medic can use the bandages on them self if they are eliminated.
Sport Details
Rules: If a player gets more then two penalties from the ref they will be disqualified from the court.
(All players)
players must wait until the bell is rang to start the game
No fist fighting
No shoes, for it could pop the inflatable court
Must wear team uniform or team colors
No team killing
Must have one weapon
Do not throw weapons
(Defenders)
One shield and one weapon
Must stay on their side of the court and defend their territory
(Attacking)
Have at least one weapon
Attack the enemy
(Call outs)
Can not fight enemy
Must stay in call out stand
Make call outs to team
Call out must go towards your team and can not be used against your team
(Medics)
Choice of any weapon

(Death)
If you have been hit by an enemy you must lay on the ground and you can call for your medic but you have to yell your team name or color before you say medic. For example blue medic, red medic, or as if you had a team name you would say shark medic, snake medic.
If your medic runs out of heals and you are eliminated you will have to stay laying on the ground until either team has lost all there players and then the round is over
To be eliminated or eliminate someone you will need to hit them with your weapon one time
If the enemy or you do not call your hit and the ref sees this you will have a penalty
(Penalties)
If you get three penalties you will be disqualified from the match and the rest of the rounds
Penalties will be announced but the ref by yelling or shouting the penalty and on who got the penalty and will mark who got the penalty
(Game play)
The round will start with one team on their side and the other team on their side
Each player will have to have one hand and one foot on the wall before starting the round
The ref will blow a whistle when it is time to start the round
There will be up to three rounds
A round will be over when one teams has eliminated all the opponents players
First to two wins will win overall
