Dropping - a New Sport

The new sport of Dropping was created by Jaka Perdana from Indonesia in 2023. The sport of dropping nails on a target board below from a height of 20 meters. A nail weighing 0.75 kg for women and 0.9 kg for men. The goal board has value 1 to 10 with a value of ten  in the middle.

Sport Details

There are seven types of falls based on target board movement.

  1. Center (c): where the goal board does not move
  2. right to left (rl): the target board moves from right to left. (until the board is not visible to the left)
  3. left to right (lr): the target board moves from left to right. (until the board is not visible to the right).
  4. up to down (ud): the target board moves from top to down. (until the board is not visible below)
  5. down to up (du): the target board moves from bottom to up. (until the board is not visible to the top).
  6. fall to climb (fc): goal board moves from falling to up (10 meters up)
  7. climb to fall (cf): the goal board moves from up to fall. (10 meters down)

Player Position: stand on the fall position marking under which there is a target board. Straight hands holding the nail. Then dropping nails on the target board. The time allowed for each fall is 10 seconds.

Each drop is worth a maximum of 10. Consists of three sets. When the player wins two sets, is declared the winner.

Hand Msovement: the hand is in a straight position, only the wrist moves.
