Bucket Ball - a New Sport

The new sport of Bucket Ball was created by Tyburn Academy, USA, in March 2025. Bucket Ball is a game played with a volleyball and a trash can basket, involving 4 to 10 players.

Equipment: Game Ball- Volley Ball, Basket- Trash Can

The rules of Bucket Ball are as follows:

  1. Players must start the game at the top of the key of the court.
  2. The shooter must release the ball in the air and cannot come down with it; travel must be called if this happens.
  3. The player with the ball can only take 7 steps before passing or shooting, with the count resetting on each pass or shot.
  4. There is a 40-second shot clock, leading to a turnover if time runs out.
  5. Violations include turnover for dribbling, penalties for ball-hogging and fighting, and penalties for fouls.
  6. The goalkeeper has 8 seconds to toss the ball in the air and must stay inside the goalie's box.
