"Institute of Sport was founded in 1978. Its aims and objectives are conducting basic research in human beings engaged in all areas of sports and in exercise sciences. This includes diagnostic services in psychophysical fitness and work capacity, rendered to athletes via their respective sports associations."
"The Institute, supervised by the State Sports and Tourism Administration, occupies a 5-floor building situated next to the Warsaw-Gdansk route, in the northern outskirts of Warsaw. The structure includes: Administration Section (Secretariat, Documentation and Planning, Financial Section), Technical Section (Maintenance, Supplies, Workshops). Library, and research departments."
