Ireland: The Irish Institute of Sport

The Irish Institute of Sport was established in 2006 to support the development of high performance sport in Ireland. The Institute is performance focused, coach led and athlete centered. It is dedicated to assisting athletes in their progression to the highest levels in international sport, through the provision of individualized and team programs and services.

The services provided includes sports science, sports medicine, coaching and lifestyle support services to Ireland’s elite athletes. The sport science services include psychology, strength and conditioning, performance analysis, biomechanics and exercise physiology.
