High Performance Training Centers in Ecuador
In Ecuador there are five High Performance Training Centers (Centros de Entrenamiento para el Alto Rendimiento CEAR EP ) located in Durán (Guayas), Macas (Morona Santiago), Cuenca (Azuay), Carpuela (Imbabura), and Rioverde (Esmeraldas). There is also the International Center for High Performance at Altitude (Centro Internacional de Alto Rendimiento en Altura - CIARA) and Olympic High Performance Center (Centro Olímpico de Alto Rendimiento - ECU).
The High Performance Training Center in Cuenca is located in the city of Cuenca, with sports accommodation facilities for 300 people, two cafeterias for 30 people and 1 restaurant for 150 people. There is also an auditorium for 400 people, a gym and a swimming pool.
The High Performance Training Center in Duran is located in the city of Duran 30 minutes from Guayaquil airport. There is accommodation for 90 people, food service for 100 people as well as sports venues for swimming, contact sports, athletics, among others.
