I am writing to let you know that there is a big sporting event happening in Japan in a couple of months. I'm sure you have heard about it before, the Olympics, though with the current events happening around the world it would not be surprising if it's not at the forefront of your mind. It's just what we need to get the world excited again about sports, after a long time of canceled, postponed and spectator free events.

The Olympics gets me excited. As one Australian commentator once said, "Too much sport is barely enough". At Olympics time it is all about sports, and it is a rare time when even non-sports fans get excited about a sporting event too.

The Olympics this time around will be undoubtedly different. Without international spectators, more than ever the focus will be on telecast and media coverage. The lead up to the Olympics is a busy time here at Topend Sports. We have been busy updating our Olympic content and adding loads more info. There is so much we have created some pointers below to some unique content you may find interesting, and get you excited about this upcoming event like us.
