1993 Copa América in Ecuador

The 1993 Copa América was held in Ecuador. It was the 36th edition of the tournament.

The tournament saw the participation of the ten CONMEBOL nations—Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela—along with invited teams Mexico and the United States.

In the final, Argentina triumphed over Mexico with a 2-1 victory, winning their 14th Copa América title.
