2026 Nagoya Asian Games

The 2026 Asian Games will be the 20th event held. The event will be co-hosted by the Aichi Prefecture and the city of Nagoya. It will be the third time the event has been hosted in Japan, after Tokyo in 1958 and Hiroshima in 1994.

It is planned to host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the Mizuho Athletic Stadium, which will be revamped to a capacity of 35,000.

15,000 athletes and officials from 45 countries and regions are expected to participate.
