Australia at Salt Lake City 2002
At the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics Steven Bradbury won Australia's first Winter Olympic Games gold medal in the 1,000 m Short Track speed skating event, when all of the other competitors spectacularly fell over on the last bend (see video).
Australia also won a second gold at these Games, when Alisa Camplin won the Aerials event.
