Francesco Conconi

Francesco Conconi was born on April 19th, 1935 in Como, Italy. He an Italian sports doctor and scientist well known for the Conconi Test, first described in 1982. He is also known for his alleged involvement in blood doping and using EPO for professional cyclists in the 1980s and 1990s. He currently works as a Professor at the University of Ferrara in Italy where he heads the Centro Studi Biomedici Applicati allo Sport (Biomedical Research Institute).
