Pool Ball - a New Sport
The new sport of Pool Ball was created by Rayan Ahmad, Kazim Abbas, Kareem elsheikh from Pakistan in September 2023. The sport involves playing football in the pool. Pool ball is a sport which uses skills acquired from football and water polo, this sport is played in shallow waters and uses overhead kicks and headers as the main way of scoring.
Equipment Required: Swimming shorts, Goggles (if wanted)
Sport Details
- You can only score with overhead kicks or headers, headers can only be scored when Someone sets it up for you, you cannot throw the ball up and head it yourself.
- You use your hand as the main source of dribbling and passing.
- While attempting to block you are able to slap the ball out of mid air while someone is attempting a header or overhead kick, if you push or hold back the player while this happens it's a foul and play restarts.
- Played in shallow waters up to 3-4 feet.
- No kicking other players no punching no slapping.
- You are able to tackle the other player by jumping in their way but if you hold the player underwater for too long it's a foul.
- There are no free kicks or set kicks when a foul is called you simply restart play.
- Goals should be 4 and a half feet wide and should be around 7ft tall.
