Ultralight Aviation

Ultralight aviation or micriolight aviation is the flying of lightweight aircrafts. The definition of lightweight varies among countries. In Brazil, they define ultralight planes as “a very light manned experimental aircraft used mainly for sports or recreation.” In Canada, they have two ultralight airplanes, the BULA or basic ultralight aeroplanes, and the AULA or advances ultralight aeroplanes.

In the United Kingdom, a mircrolight plane is limited to two people. In India, a microlight airplane is a two-seater airplane, a single engine, unpressurized cabin, and a fixed landing gear. In the Philippines, ultralight airplanes are defined as “an aircraft that does not posses an aircraft type certificate issued by any country/state.”
