Beast of Ballyhoura Adventure Race

The Beast of Ballyhoura is an annual 36 hour Adventure Race set on the uplands and lowlands of counties Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford and Cork in Ireland's southwest. It takes place annually over the August bank holiday weekend and is Ireland's only overnight non-stop Adventure Race.

The course specially selected each year offers a mix of kayaking, hill running, navigation, orienteering, mountain biking, abseiling, archery, shooting, river walking and scrambling over some of Ireland's most spectacular mountains, valleys and forests.
