Amsterdam: Amsterdam Institute of Sport Science (AISS)
The Amsterdam Institute of Sport Science (AISS) is a new sporting institute started in July 2014. Research at the AISS is focused on research into performance improvement, exercise and health. Testing is in locations in 'the field' on professional and amateur athletes, as well as patients.
The field labs include rthe owing course the Bosbaan, the Sloterparkbad swimming pool and Sports park Ookmeer. There is also the Amsterdam Sports (Poli)clinic, which provides high quality clinical care for injuries and supports athletes in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation from injury.
