The ship which transported the US Olympic team to the 1912 Summer Olympic Games in Stockholm, . The ship was chartered by the US Olympic Committee to carry the American Olympic Team. Shown is the ship departing New York harbor on June 14, 1912. The ship served as training and living quarters for the team as it crossed the Atlantic and during the games as well, when it was stationed in Stockholm harbor as a floating hotel. The image is drawn from the US Library of Congress's collections. Believed to be in the public domain - LOC lists no known restrictions on publication.
