Ghana at the Winter Olympic Games

The African country of Ghana is not usually associated with winter sports. Ghana appeared at the Winter Games for the first time in 2010.

The nation's first-ever participant at the Winter Olympics was Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong in men's alpine skiing slalom event in 2010. He was nicknamed the 'Snow Leopard', and finished in 47th (2nd last) place.

In 2018, Akwasi Frimpong competed in the men's skeleton event.
