Super Bowl XLVIII - 2014
Super Bowl XLVIII was the 48th edition of the Super Bowl and was played on February 2, 2014. The game was played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, making it the first Super Bowl to be held in an outdoor stadium in a cold-weather city.
The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos 43-8 in a dominant performance, led by quarterback Russell Wilson and a fierce defense. Seattle's Malcolm Smith was named the game's Most Valuable Player.
