Super Bowl 1997

The 1997 Super Bowl, officially known as Super Bowl XXXI, was played on January 26, 1997 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This game saw the Green Bay Packers defeat the New England Patriots by a score of 35-21.

The Packers dominated the game, with quarterback Brett Favre throwing for 246 yards and two touchdowns. Green Bay's offense was explosive, with Antonio Freeman catching a Super Bowl record 84-yard touchdown reception.

This was the first Super Bowl win for the Green Bay Packers in 29 year. The 1997 Super Bowl was also notable for being the first Super Bowl held in New Orleans since 1978.
