1959 European Cup

The UEFA Champions League is an annual football club competition played between the European national league champions and other top clubs from Europe. At the time it was called the European Champion Clubs' Cup (though commonly known as the "European Cup").

The final of the 1959 European Cup was played at Neckarstadion, Stuttgart, West Germany on June 3, 1959, was between Stade de Reims and Real Madrid, a rematch of the first final in 1956. The match was won by Spanish team Real Madrid again. Real Madrid won all five of the first five tournaments.
