Scotland at the World Cup
Scotland has qualified for the World Cup three times, in 1999, 2007 and 2015. In their first two appearances, they lost all their games and failed to progress beyond the first round.
- Scotland's first World Cup match was played on May 16, 1999 against Australia at County Ground, New Road - Worcester, a match Australia won by 6 Wickets
- Some matches of the 1999 tournament, which was held mainly in England, were also held in Scotland.
- Scotland qualified in 2007, where they beat Ireland in one match.
