Water Polo at the Commonwealth Games

Water Polo is an officially recognized Commonwealth Games sport, though it is now not on either of the core or optional sports lists. It has only appeared on the program once, in 1950, in which only Australia and New Zealand took part, with Australia winning all three matches.

Although now not on the Commonwealth Games program, the Commonwealth Water Polo Championships are held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Games. Events have been held in 2002, 2006, 2014.
