Namibia at the Commonwealth Games
Namibia is a country in southern Africa whose western border is the Atlantic Ocean. It shares land borders with Angola, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa. It is one of the driest and most sparsely populated countries on earth.

- Namibia became members of the Commonwealth in 1990, and made their Games debut in 1994.
- Namibia has competed in every edition of the Games since their debut.
- The Commonwealth Games in Victoria brought track and field success, with the legendary Frankie Fredericks of Namibia taking gold in the men's 200m final and a bronze in the 100m final. He also went on to win honors in Kuala Lumpur and reclaim the 200m title in Manchester in 2002.
- Most of the medals won by Namibia are from the sport of athletics.
